Living with Complex Chronic Disease – 12-part series
Dr. Alexandra Perel-Winkler
This 12-week group creates a balance of community, connection and deeper exploration of themes that run through the lives of those living with chronic pain and complex disease.
Each session, Dr. Perel-Winkler facilitates meaningful discussion around complex topics including meaning, identity, purpose, boundaries, relationships, grief, shame and more.
The experience of this group is dynamic, meaning that participants can help direct the course of the group bringing up topics that are meaningful and necessary for them.
As this is an advanced group it is necessary to have a good foundation in pacing and basic fundamentals of chronic pain management.
An interest in a dynamic, participatory group is recommended.
