Relaxation (2/9) – 9-Part Series

This didactic 9-part series dives deep into the stress management and relaxation training concepts taught in the second session of Empowering You to Changepain.
Over the course of the 9 sessions, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of tools, including breathing, meditation, mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy, self-compassion, chair yoga, and emotion regulation. A goal of this program is to support you in actively using these tools in your daily life, so strategies for successful habit change will be explored as well.
The pace and content of this program will be flexible in response to the people in it because the primary focus of this program is to support people living with persistent pain in the challenges they are facing as a result of COVID-19.
Our current life circumstances are unprecedented and uncertain, and this program is intended to provide a regular place for you to come and feel connected to others going through similar experiences.
