Safe Movement: Low Back, Trunk & Core (1/3) – 3-Part Series
Dr. Susan Bright and Leroy Ho
This multi-component program explores the complexity of our bodies through the lens of a movement specialist.
Classes will individually cover all regions of the body: neck, headaches, low back, shoulder, knee, and more!
Content covered will include anatomy, biomechanics, function, dysfunction and practical rehabilitation solutions.
Please come prepared with your own individual questions as there will be time allocated for interactive discussion related to your personal concerns. These sessions will provide a rare opportunity to receive truly integrated advice from both the movement and medical specialist. In addition to region-specific topics please also look out for topics such as pacing, ergonomics, running tips, and tissue healing.
While these classes do not need to be taken in a series, each class does add cumulative value to the other. It is strongly recommended that all patients participate in both region-specific topics as well as the broader movement topics to ensure you are empowered with the correct tools and you understand how to integrate these movement strategies into your daily activities.
Enjoyed your session? Enjoyed checking in with your clinician team? Not a problem participate in the same class more then once to gain further knowledge and follow up with your clinician team on a regular basis. We look forward to seeing you at our next Safe Movement session.
