At Changepainâ„¢, we offer evidence-based physiotherapy for pain management, both onsite and virtually. Our individualized care ensures comprehensive assessment and treatment, aiming to restore, maintain, and maximize mobility, function, and quality of life.
What is a Physiotherapist?
A physiotherapist is a licensed healthcare professional registered with the College of Physiotherapy. They have in-depth knowledge of the body and specialized clinical training to promote health and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities.
Why We Are Different?
Our physiotherapists collaborate with your physicians to provide an integrated, holistic approach to care. With specialized training in pain and extensive experience, they help you maximize function through hands-on techniques, active rehabilitation exercises, and self-management education.
What a Typical Treatment Involves?
Initial Assessment: Up to 60 minutes to clarify your diagnosis and discuss the best care plan.
Ongoing Treatment: Personalized and guided by you and our team. Focuses on functional improvements, quality of life, and pain reduction. Active participation with home exercises is crucial. Evaluate response after 4-6 sessions, with potential for additional sessions.
Benefits of Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy improves mobility, alleviates pain, prevents injuries, and enhances overall physical function. Whether recovering from surgery, sports injuries, or managing chronic conditions, our personalized approach is effective.
Coverage
Physiotherapy is not covered by MSP, but many extended benefits plans cover part or all costs. We do direct billing to ICBC, Pacific Blue Cross, and Medavie Blue Cross (for Veterans).
