We offer expert multidisciplinary Allied Health services that are integrated with your changepain medical care. Allied Health care can also be accessed independently and separate from our medical care. Allied Health and Rehabilitation services DO NOT require a referral and can be accessed immediately.
We will assess your condition, determine the source of pain and rule out other pathologies. You may be required to dress in shorts, a tank top or a gown for assessment of the area. We suggest you carry/wear sports shoes that you are comfortable in.
I Have Extended Health
We offer direct billing to almost all Third-Party Payers. Please note that our Allied Health services are not covered by MSP.
- ICBC – For all motor vehicle related injures pre-approval (or special appointment type) is required before booking. Please contact our Allied Health Coordinator at rehab@changepain.ca
- VAC – For all Veterans, pre-approval is required before booking. Please contact our Allied Health Coordinator at rehab@changepain.ca
- RCMP – For RCMP officers we are unable to bill directly for work related injuries
For all other third-party payers, you can check coverage with our Allied Health Coordinator before or at the time of your appointment. The remainder of any uncovered expenses will be billed directly to you. Other third-party payers we bill directly to include:

ALLIED HEALTH FAQs
Our team of highly skilled, and passionate practitioners are driven to help people optimize brain and body performance, optimize functional recovery, and revitalize wellbeing. Our approach is patient centered and truly interdisciplinary. Regular case rounds, co-location, and integrated electronic medical reports allow an ease of collaboration between all allied health practitioners and your changepain medical team.
The changepain Allied health team may act as your first point of contact at the clinic, supporting you in early assessment and management of acute or chronic pain. Allied health services may also be integrated at any point with your core medical services at Changepain Medical & Rehab Clinic. In this way we can help you navigate and/or initiate a coordinated approach to your pain care.
