Safe Movement: Pacing & Stepping Into Your Recovery (6-part series)
This 6-part series is a practical and didactic lesson aimed to create an individualized pacing plan to meet you at your specific stage of recovery. If you are suffering with chronic fatigue syndrome, dysautonomia, fibromyalgia, or struggling with recurrent boom and bust cycles, this class may be useful for you. Through journaling, Group Medical Visits case examples, and other learning and self-discovery tools, you will be empowered to recognize helpful and unhelpful behaviors, set individual goals, and gently shift lifestyle habits.
This interactive and didactic 8-part series empowers you to learn more about chronic pain and the best ways to manage it. This multi-component program explores the complexity of our bodies through the lens of a movement specialist. Individual classes cover specific regions of the body: neck, headaches, low back, shoulder, knee, and more! Topics include anatomy, biomechanics, function, dysfunction and practical rehabilitation solutions.
This interactive and gentle movement 4-part series creates space to gently support wellbeing through breath, movement, sensory awareness, and embodiment explorations. These sessions are designed to offer an experience of moving from a place of (relative) ease and calm – modification and alternatives will be provided.Â
This weekly re-occurring class guides you on how to safely build physical resiliency through a blend of education and movement-based sessions. You will learn about the principles of resistance training and the keys to progressive loading to support healthy tissue adaptations. Each 90-minute class consists of an active strengthening component with educational breaks to allow for adequate rest.
